This study assessed the impact of Consulting Group Ecuador (CGE)'s management on the optimization of eco-nomic resources in the health system of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas through volunteer work (2018-2023). A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional descriptive design was used. The sample included five auxiliary qualifications and three health mentions, totaling 4,800 graduated students who completed volunteer hours. For data collection, a registration form was applied, allowing for the systematization of variables such as: year, qualification, number of graduates, volunteer hours, and the economic value of such contributions. The analy-sis included a time series evaluation and cross-tabulation to identify trends in annual economic contributions. The most significant result was that the economic contribution peaked in 2022 with $2,251,664, coinciding with a higher number of graduates that year and, consequently, an increase in the number of volunteer hours completed. Volunteering has been a key resource for the health system; through the synergy achieved in this activity, CGE has significantly contributed to critical health areas such as the COVID-19 pandemic and has simultaneously managed to strengthen the practical training of students.
