This research aimed to evaluate the impact of music therapy on the development of motor coordination in preschool children at the Unidad Educativa Particular Granja Escuela Montessori of the Cayambe Canton. The research approach employed was a mixed-methods approach (qualitative and quantitative), and the population consisted of students and teachers. The variables studied were music therapy and the development of motor coordination. The framework for this project encompasses all aspects of music therapy, presenting the theories that allow for the analysis of music therapy in early preschool education. This analysis will explore the characteristics, effects, and benefits of this educational resource that can be used in classrooms. The influence of music therapy in primary education will also be examined, highlighting its benefits. Finally, the study will analyze early childhood education in relation to music to understand its role in the recommendations for preschool development. Starting with music as the most important tool because it opens the door to the motor, cognitive, social, emotional, and transcendental development of both the child and the teacher, who are considered an integral pair in the joy of learning. The methodology will utilize a series of processes such as descriptive design, a mixed-methods approach, population analysis, and data collection instruments to facilitate the gathering of necessary information.
